Location: Limassol, Cyprus (hybrid).

Role Purpose
As Legal Advisor at NAGA, you will provide practical, business-oriented legal support across the group, drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on regulatory matters, and supporting the DPO function. You will work across multiple jurisdictions and collaborate closely with Compliance, Finance, and senior management to help the business operate confidently within its legal framework.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including commercial, service, and other agreements, ensuring compliance with Cyprus and applicable EU law.
• Assist in the preparation of protocols and materials for board meetings and other legal documents (e.g. POAs, Resolutions, Letters) ensuring all legal perspectives are well-represented.
• Support the Head of Legal & DPO in coordinating legal matters across all regions to ensure a unified approach to global legal issues.
• Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Compliance, Product, and Finance, offering legal support to enhance operations and mitigate risks.
• Assist in managing potential legal disputes, such as issues for defamation.
• Contribute to the implementation of scalable legal processes to streamline and organize global legal functions efficiently.
• Conduct legal research on matters related to the company's global operations, with a focus on the Cyprus regulatory landscape.
• Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
• Handle data subject rights requests, tickets and tasks (DPO support duties), in line with GDPR and Romanian data protection legislation.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations (DPO support duties).
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures (DPO support duties).
• Perform other related legal tasks, as may be needed from time to time to support the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited Cyprus institution. A Master's degree in Law or other relevant legal qualifications is a must.
• 2-3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
• Professional level of English (written and spoken) is required; Greek native/fluent.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Proactive approach to addressing and resolving legal challenges in a timely manner.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
