About the role:

You will be joining our growing Finance function, in the Reconciliation Officer role you will be monitoring workflows, performing merchant reconciliations, and handling a variety of queries relation to transaction investigation such as failed transactions and payments. To be successful in this role you will ideally have a education in finance and a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily transaction & scheme reconciliations.
  • Daily Bank reconciliations and liaison.
  • Daily Scheme Position Reconciliation.
  • Accounting system controls account reconciliations.
  • Handle queries relating to transaction investigation (failed transactions, payments, etc.
  • Collaboration with other teams and assignments on ad-hoc projects.
  • Preparation of data for the periodic (monthly; quarterly; annual) reporting to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Assistance with the periodic monthly financial analysis and reporting.


  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effective communicate in a multicultural environment across all management levels.
  • At least 2 years of related professional experience. Industry experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Advanced user and experience with Microsoft excel.
  • Dynamic, driven, with a high level of integrity.
  • High analytical skills
  • A working knowledge of SAP ERP system will be considered as an advantage.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
