Job Description
On behalf of a maritime technology company specializing in cutting-edge communications and information technology, we are seeking a skilled and innovative Platform Engineer to join their core transformation team. This is your chance to enable the development of the next wave of maritime management applications in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
In your new role you will enable the Product development teams to implement, maintain & operate applications using a Mendix low-code development platform. Your work will streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and enable the rapid delivery of solutions.
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
What You’ll Do:
- Support and maintain Mendix accelerators (starter apps, design systems, modules, and API catalogs). Collaborate with architects and the development team to enhance web services.
- Implement process automations and system integrations to optimize workflows using APIs, connectors, and RPA tools.
- Administer the Mendix low-code platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Design and implement Azure cloud resources within an enterprise-scale architecture. Develop processes for end-to-end service and security management.
- Provide technical support, diagnose issues, and work with vendors to resolve tickets promptly.
- Train and support Mendix users through documentation, training sessions, and adoption of low-code solutions.
- Stay current with low-code and no-code trends, introducing innovative ideas to enhance team capabilities.
What you bring:
- At least 1 year working with Mendix or a similar low-code application platform.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
- Agile application development, CI/CD methodologies, low-code programming (Mendix preferred), scripting languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, YAML, Terraform).
- Familiarity with maritime systems like planned maintenance or crew management is a plus.
- Advantageous certifications include Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Cisco Network Administrator, and ITIL Foundation.
