As a licensed financial company with principal membership with card schemes, we specialize in global payments and providing businesses with multi-currency accounts.
This role is about:
The Operations Manager oversees continuous improvement and automation initiatives, collaborating with departments to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
You will:
- Support Operational Process Quality: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Coordinate Operational Initiatives: Oversee the delivery of key operational initiatives, ensuring they meet organizational goals and timelines
- Policy and Procedure Development: Create and implement comprehensive operational policies and procedures to standardize practices across the organization
- Process Mapping: Analyze existing processes and provide suggestions for improvements to enhance business efficiency. Some examples of processes including budget processes, expense approval processes, and hiring processes
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on operational performance by analyzing key metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage relevant stakeholders for the successful delivery of operational initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
- Governance Management: Establish and manage governance forums to oversee operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of all project activities for stakeholders at all levels, maintaining transparency and facilitating governance
- Change Management: Communicate operational changes promptly to relevant stakeholders, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
- Cross-functional communication: Design and deliver communications on key results impacting the business, ensuring all departments are informed and aligned
What we need:
- Operations Experience: Prior experience in the operations department of medium to large-sized organizations, preferably within the financial services sector
- Problem-solving: Professional and methodical approach to resolving issues
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with active listening and clear information conveyance
- Analytical Aptitude: Strong analytical thinking to understand and address complex issues within the operational function
- Operational Insight: Deep understanding of how various functions within operations interconnect and impact overall performance
- Process Efficiency: Focus on enhancing process efficiency and driving continuous improvement
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage and engage stakeholders effectively, meeting their needs and expectations
- Change Management: Experience in managing change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal operational impact
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Trello
- Certifications: PMP certification and Price certifications are an advantage
