Job Description:

As an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for Level 1 troubleshooting, searching knowledge bases for solutions, and escalating incidents to higher support levels when necessary. Your goal will be to ensure seamless IT operations and effective user support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Search knowledge bases to verify if reported problems are known issues with defined resolutions.
  • Route and escalate incidents to second/third level support or third parties as required.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and ensure adherence to IT policies.
  • Conduct effective user training and collaborate with vendors.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure network security and software development proficiency.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 Administration.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, ticketing systems, and CRMs.
  • Experience with data management and IT policies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and network security.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology trends.
