Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years proven experience as a project manager, preferably in the fintech industry
- Strong knowledge of financial technologies, digital platforms, and emerging trends in fintech
- Strong knowledge of crypto industry and technologies behind it
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and control projects effectively
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the fintech sector
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) are a plus
Your daily activities as a Fintech Project Manager will be:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, tasks, and resource requirements
- Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project schedules
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Implement effective project management methodologies and best practices
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage and communicate with key stakeholders, including product owners, development teams, business analysts, and senior management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are understood and addressed
- Facilitate productive meetings, provide regular project updates, and manage stakeholder expectations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into project plans
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers, data analysts, and quality assurance professionals
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to team members
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing
- Ensure effective coordination and alignment between various teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and financials, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet defined standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues
- Monitor project performance indicators, such as budget, timeline, and resource utilization
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project success and identify lessons learned
