Job Description
BettingJobs is working with a well-established B2B casino platform provider, who are seeking to hire an experienced Compliance Manager to join their team in Cyprus.
As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies to ensure adherence to laws and regulations, as well as collaborating with product and tech teams to ensure regulatory compliance in all products.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance (or similar position) role within the online gambling industry.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements and changes across all operating or potential jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement compliance policies to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Act as a primary contact for designated regulatory bodies, managing communications and submissions.
- Serve as a named person for certain Key Functions as required by regulators.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure regulatory compliance in all products.
- Oversee product certification processes to meet regulatory and industry standards.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews of products and services.
- Provide compliance guidance and support to product teams.
- Manage the entire licensing process for new markets, including applications.
- Maintain and update licenses, ensuring renewals and reporting obligations are met.
- Coordinate with legal advisors to meet all licensing requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to launch operations in new markets, ensuring compliance milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for market entry.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, providing ongoing education to the team.
- Prepare and present regular compliance reports to senior management and the board.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities and project plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s; advanced degree preferred.
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance (or similar position) role within the online gambling industry.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and licensing requirements in key markets.
- Proven experience in managing regulatory affairs, product compliance, and licensing processes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
