Job Description

On behalf of one of our clients, working in the IT sphere for 5 years we are seeking to recruit an Accountant with proven expertise to join their growing team. The successful individual is required to work on a full-time remote position and will conduct transactions for 2+ companies, as well as help conduct audits and prepare documents for audits, for payroll related tasks etc. She/He will be assisted by members of the team who are currently engaged in such tasks. However, the successful candidate must be a specialist with extensive experience who can advise the company from a professional point of view.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data, preparing reports.
  • Calculate salaries for 25-30 employees considering taxation, allowances / deductions, increases etc
  • Conduct full control of outgoing payment processes (different payment methods). Preparation salary balance sheet statements, invoices, payment requests etc.
  • Prepare contracts and other documents for payment with employees
  • Communicate with the accounting agency, collection and sorting of all company invoices and other documents in the cloud
  • Monitor and arrange timely payments to all partners of the company
  • Conduct consultations with external auditors; check the company’s annual audit report. Verify the audit report results with the bank statements of the company.
  • Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Secure financial information by completing data base backups
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
  • Manage daily office administration and accounting
  • Coach and guide junior colleagues
  • Tax reporting, payments and liaising with tax authorities
  • Preparation of VAT Returns and compliance (if needed)

 

Job Requirements

  • Min 2 years of accounting/financial advisor experience
  • Experience working remotely or/and in a digital agency / start up is preferred
    Attention to details
  • Ability to multitasking and deadlines oriented. Ability to work and perform under pressure
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good command of the English language. Efficiency in the Russian language is very welcomed
  • A positive attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Team player: able to work on own initiative and in a team
  • Continuously review, recommend and implement improvements
  • Audit background will be considered as a strong advantage
  • Strong data analysis skills
