Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial statements
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining files and databases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper, with at least 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines
