Job Description

The Warehouse Manager, Supply Chain assists the Director, Global Supply Chain in planning, developing, executing and managing strategic sourcing initiatives for the supply chain functions including procurement of products, materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services aiming at cost reduction and process improvement as well as managing vendor effectively; and to train, develop, mentor and assist subordinates in all of the departments that fall within the Supply Chain Department.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Manages import processes and ensures compliance with laws and regulations
Plans and implements all import transportation strategies according to all suppliers and customer demand
Administers internal movement of all goods and ensures compliance to all government regulations
Partners with suppliers and inventory planners and ensures accurate movement of all goods and ensures arrival of goods within required timeframe
Designs, evaluates, and renews all contracts as per requirement and monitors and prepares reports for all import activities and recommends changes if required

 

QUALIFICATIONS: –

Experience

  • At least 10 years’ experience in supply chain with at least 5 years’ experience in a management role; preferably in hospitality, gaming, large restaurant chains and/or supermarket chains environments
  • Extensive knowledge in customs regulation

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or any other relevant

 

Skills / Competencies

  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and collating report summaries
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Good command of Greek and English languages both written and verbal
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has a strong work ethic
  • Leadership abilities
