Pepperstone is looking to hire a Senior Payments Lead.

The Role

The Senior Payments Lead is a newly created opportunity to support the end-to-end delivery of the global payments ecosystem at Pepperstone. Joining our payments team, you will play a key role in delivery of our global payments strategy with the development of new ways for our customers to manage their money. Reporting directing to the Head of Payments and Fraud protection, you will have an array of technical and project leadership over a domain squad within the payments group working in an agile environment.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with key stakeholders including engineering leads and their teams to analyze, compile and prioritize backlogs
  • Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse business and payments requirements
  • Assisting with the elaboration of the user stories and requirements and document the processes and train/support the different teams
  • Monitoring progress and performance and drive improvements
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly payments reporting
  • Auditing and improving processes, including creating and updating documentation
  • Managing the payments escalations backlog
  • SME and escalation point for payments challenges and issues


About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in payments including digital payments experience and/or working with a payment technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong internal and external relationships with sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to manage projects, business initiatives end to end
  • Ability to adapt and work within a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Flexibility to work across time zones as required
