Key functions

  • Prospect for potential new clients to ensure a robust pipeline and growth of the business
  • Work closely with internal sales, technical, and service resources
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Identify the decision-makers within the client organization and establish connections
  • Create business proposals based on customer needs and requirements
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Secure commitments and close deals
  • Follow up and control of contract terms

 

Qualification and skills

  • Sales experience in the IT sector (servers, storages, multiboards, conference solutions, IT peripherals, etc) own network of business contacts in the sector is an advantage
  • Project execution background, comprehensive knowledge of the technical part of the IT solutions and appropriate technologies
  • Team-player attitude with a high comfort level working collaboratively
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Skills in short-term and long-term planning of purchases and sales
  • Result orientation, leadership qualities, good analytical skills, systematic approach to work
  • IT literacy – including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hunger to develop new business โ€“ tenacity and persistence
  • Enjoys challenge and a fast-paced international corporate culture
  • Strong presence with solid influencing skills
  • Ability to develop long lasting business relationships
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in English and Greek
