Key functions
- Prospect for potential new clients to ensure a robust pipeline and growth of the business
- Work closely with internal sales, technical, and service resources
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Identify the decision-makers within the client organization and establish connections
- Create business proposals based on customer needs and requirements
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion
- Secure commitments and close deals
- Follow up and control of contract terms
Qualification and skills
- Sales experience in the IT sector (servers, storages, multiboards, conference solutions, IT peripherals, etc) own network of business contacts in the sector is an advantage
- Project execution background, comprehensive knowledge of the technical part of the IT solutions and appropriate technologies
- Team-player attitude with a high comfort level working collaboratively
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Skills in short-term and long-term planning of purchases and sales
- Result orientation, leadership qualities, good analytical skills, systematic approach to work
- IT literacy – including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Hunger to develop new business – tenacity and persistence
- Enjoys challenge and a fast-paced international corporate culture
- Strong presence with solid influencing skills
- Ability to develop long lasting business relationships
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in English and Greek
