Job Description

Parklane Resort is looking to hire a Restaurants Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Hiring and training new employees, including providing on-the-job training to new hires
  • Ensuring that the outlets are staffed with competent employees who are trained in food safety procedure
  • Evaluating employee performance, addressing problems, and planning for staff development needs
  • Setting the prices of menu items and overseeing the accounting of cash receipts from guests to ensure that revenues meet targets
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing company policies on employee conduct and safety procedures
  • Ensuring that all food preparation meets health codes and other regulations
  • Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
  • Manages day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
  • Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
  • Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Acts as the guest service role model for the restaurants, sets a good example of excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
  • Handles guest problems and complaints.
  • Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality related field
  • 3-5 years’ minimum experience of Food and Beverage Service Industry in the same position or any similar role in Hospitality Industry in 4 or 5 star Hotels
  • Excellent Knowledge of English Language
  • Highly effective communication and organizational Skills
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management
  • Excellent leadership, management, and team building skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Hotel software / PMS or Sales
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification
  • Customer-centric
