Job Description
Parklane Resort is looking to hire a Restaurants Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Hiring and training new employees, including providing on-the-job training to new hires
- Ensuring that the outlets are staffed with competent employees who are trained in food safety procedure
- Evaluating employee performance, addressing problems, and planning for staff development needs
- Setting the prices of menu items and overseeing the accounting of cash receipts from guests to ensure that revenues meet targets
- Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing company policies on employee conduct and safety procedures
- Ensuring that all food preparation meets health codes and other regulations
- Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
- Manages day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
- Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Acts as the guest service role model for the restaurants, sets a good example of excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
- Handles guest problems and complaints.
- Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality related field
- 3-5 years’ minimum experience of Food and Beverage Service Industry in the same position or any similar role in Hospitality Industry in 4 or 5 star Hotels
- Excellent Knowledge of English Language
- Highly effective communication and organizational Skills
- Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management
- Excellent leadership, management, and team building skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Hotel software / PMS or Sales
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification
- Customer-centric
