Melco Resorts & Entertainment is looking to hire a Manager, Restaurant.

Position Summary

The Manager, Restaurant delivers on the Melco Resorts & Entertainment vision, standards and objectives through a strategic approach to managing a Restaurant/Bar operation that focuses on developing business strategy, entrepreneurism and innovation, high team involvement and creating best practices.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identifies and communicates with managers action steps necessary to ensure high levels of productivity and quality standards (have added quality here)
  • Maximises equipment/resource capacity
  • Attempts to exceed quantity and quality service as per company’s standards
  • Follows company’s marketing approach to build a successful operation in a competitive environment
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels are maintained by following accurate time and rostering procedures, and that staff are allocated to areas by job classification and skill
  • Maintains annual leave accruals at an acceptable level
  • Ensures financial reports, incident reports, accident/injury reports, and all timekeeping documents are completed and forwarded in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Effectively utilises electronic systems regarding payroll, Recruitment/HR, POS, Reservation Management System, Ordering System, Guest Feedback System
  • Achieves productivity by maximising the use of team synergies
  • Shows concern for dignity, self-esteem, welfare and contributions of all employees, while demanding performance and promotes an environment that enable team participation
  • Establishes systems that encourage clear, timely and accurate information about the organisation and operations between employees at all levels to enhance decision-making processes
  • Identifies customer requirements and expectations
  • Establishes an environment that allows customer feedback to be disseminated to all levels of employees and incorporated into planning and operations
  • Seeks feedback/gathers information on customer service performance and achieves high quality in customer service
  • Drives company initiatives on Customer Service Enhancements both internally and externally
  • Develops and shares with all employees a vision for the enterprise
  • Treats internal partners as customers who seek their needs and expectations met or exceeded
  • Identifies how performance, decisions and actions will ultimately impact on customer satisfaction
  • Leads for successful change and foster innovation to enable positive consequences to changing environment

Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a five-star Hotel/F&B organization with exposure to high volume beverage sales
  • Hotel F&B management and fine-dining restaurant experience would be an advantage
  • Internationally recognized professional qualifications on wines would be an advantage

 

Education

  • Preferably a Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Hospitality Business Management
  • Complete MCE Leadership Training Modules: Essentials of Leadership; Train the Trainer, Performance reviews

 

Skills

  • Experience in the process of creating and implementing new beverage concepts in a hotel/resort environment
  • Profound knowledge of beverages and wines, including high-end wines
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
  • Proven leadership skills, teambuilding and developing star performers
  • Good command in spoken and written English, Greek and other languages highly regarded
