Amdocs is looking to hire a Junior UX/UI Designer.

What will your job look like?

• Understands and translates strategic company goals, business requirements, and user tasks and expectations into compelling user experiences
• Creates UX/UI solutions that take into consideration content, navigational structure, human-machine interaction, and non-functional constraints with a holistic view
• Consistently advocates for the user’s interests while balancing professionalism with real world project constraints
• Develops GUI visuals that are consistent, creative, innovative, while facilitating a useful interactive experience
• Creates documentation, style guides and asset resources for the programming teams to follow and use
• Leads the design process through sessions with stakeholders, showcasing the proposed design
• Collaborates with design and development teams during design phases and subsequent development support cycles.

All you need is…

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Interaction Design, Multimedia Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or other relevant area, or equivalent UX/UI design experience)
• Strong written communication in English via Jira, emails, micro-copy, documentation
• Be highly detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work in a collaborative work environment
• Willingness to embrace new processes, tools, and approaches in work and adapt your technique to best fit a particular task
• A mindset of working towards purposeful outcomes (problems solved, the user needs to be addressed)
• Passion for solving advanced UX challenges in a very complex system
• Understanding of core design principles
• Strong visual design skills to efficiently develop UI design solutions
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or other commonly used design tools for quick impressive prototyping and high-fidelity design
• Preference will be given to candidates with a portfolio of relevant work samples
