Job Description
Melco Resorts is looking to hire a Coordinator, HR.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinates the preparation, submission and follow-through of work permits for employees and provides the relevant support and guidance throughout the process to both the employees and, if necessary, their family members
- Performs new employee on boarding and provides information, direction and support with immigration procedures and issuance of yellow slips
- Coordinates the arrival of new employees from abroad and arranges flights, land transfers and accommodation as required
- Performs the clearance process for exiting staff and ensures all associated procedures are completed
- Prepares the relevant documentation for the registration, transfer and delisting of employees with the government Social Insurance Services
- Provides assistance and support to employees for gaming license applications with the National Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission
- Coordinates and assists with the development and execution of company welfare programs including corporate social responsibility initiatives and social events
- Updates and maintains the company HRIS and employee information systems, both in hard copy and electronically and ensures they accurately reflect the manpower levels within the organization
- Any other duties as and when the business requires
Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality or service sectors
Education
Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Hospitality Management or a related field
Skills/Competencies
- Good HR generalist skills
- Good knowledge of Cyprus labor law
- Very good command of the English language
- Good knowledge of Greek, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Independent with high level of initiative
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
