Job Description

Melco Resorts is looking to hire a Coordinator, Emergency Management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the Manager, Security Operations Development for the development and conduction of training programs for security team’s staff in relation to emergency response procedures, hazard identification, fire safety maintenance and fire warden training, in accordance with the H&S plan
  • Collates reports and maintains accurate records of Fire emergencies, First Aid activities and other emergencies as is required to meet the reporting needs of the Department and ensures that the relevant reports are provided to H&S team on time.
  • Provides direct supervision to the first aid and fire safety officers in conduct of their duties to provide the best practice First Aid Services at the property
  • Liaises with H&S team and assists in the development and implementation of procedures related to the delivery of Fire Warden and emergency response training at the property
  • Assists in the implementation of Fire Safety initiatives and activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized, and risks are removed
  • Assists the on-going inspection of firefighting equipment, fire stairs and fire exits by ensuring records accurately reflect inspections
  • Liaises with the relevant Engineering Services Team and H&S team and co-ordinates with them the ongoing inspection and maintenance of fire related systems that are of Security department’s responsibilities, ensuring compliance with laws and relevant standards
  • Assists the relevant Managers in the conduct of fire safety drills and evacuation exercises as required
  • As required assists in building effective relations with the Fire Service department including ambulance services and casino counterparts
  • Uses cultural awareness and understanding whilst maintaining effective standards of written and verbal communication with staff and customers in the workplace
  • Assists in the delivery of First Aid Services at the property if required to do so to cover periods of leave etc, at short notice if necessary
  • Performs other duties as directed in accordance with all Policies and Procedures, laws and regulations, applicable to the Department and the property




  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in a large Organisation
  • Experience and good understanding of Emergency Response and Evacuation planning and
  • Experience in the delivery of training programs



  • High School Graduate
  • Certifications relevant to Security/First Aid/Crisis Management/Health and Safety


Skills / Competencies

  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and collating report summaries
  • Good knowledge of standard Fire and First Aid equipment and supplies
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Good command of Greek and English languages both written and verbal
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lead a small team
  • Self-motivation towards personal performance
  • Ability to work flexible working hours and respond after hours in the event of an emergency
