IronFX is looking to hire a Chief Technology Officer.

Job Description:

• Manage and upgrade the existing technology projects to support business goals and strategic plans
• Lead the implementation by communicating effectively with all tech leaders in order to streamline all operations and help optimize the business goals
• Lead the strategic planning in communication with the Senior Management and the stakeholders, by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting reasonable timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services
• Develop internal policies and strategies to ensure that the technology department runs smoothly and effectively
• Provide leadership and a strong strategic business acumen to support business objectives from technology and business aspect
• Develop new products and maintain existing codebase in high quality standards
• Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company’s services
• Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage
• Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs

Person Specification:

• University Degree in Information Technology/ Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CTO/Technology Director in a medium to large organization
• Proven experience in deployment of challenging technology projects
• Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization (end users, engineers, middle and senior management)
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail is a must
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong business acumen and a solid foundation in information technology, including change management and project/programme management experience.
• Ability to apply innovative thinking in conjunction with a technical understanding of emerging technologies
• Strong knowledge and experience with systems analysis/design, application development and IT operations
• Expertise in technology implementations, planning and driving complex system integration initiatives
• Experience within the financial sector, Banking/ FX will be considered an advantage
