Job Description
Pepperstone is looking to hire a Account Manager- Europe.
The Role
Our Account Manager will be the first point of contact for prospective Pepperstone clients. With our focus on continue building out our brand, the role will be communicating with our clients via phone and email, building new and strengthening existing relationships.
The primary goals include converting warm leads by assisting our prospective clients in their account opening process and encouraging them to fund and begin trading and manage the ongoing relationships with new clients for their first trades, by treating each client as the individual they are and providing custom solutions to overcome their unique challenges. The Account Manager will promote our brand, increase conversions, and provide exceptional value to clients.
Your key responsibilities include
- Effectively manage leads
- Convert leads to traded clients
- Assist clients with funding
- Assist clients with their trade-related queries
- Effectively manage relationships with existing clients
- Assist your colleagues on a team basis in any way necessary
- Always ensure compliance
- Collaborate with other key internal departments, particularly operations, and support
- Suggest innovation and improvement to the customer experience where necessary
About You
- Proficiency in English and preferably one other European language (French and/or Dutch highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills overall both written and verbal (including negotiation processes)
- 1-3 years experience in financial sales
- Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to acquire new knowledge, skills, and abilities quickly
- Proficient numerical ability; be comfortable working with numbers
- Sound decision-making and critical thinking
- Experience with financial investments (highly regarded)
- Experience with MetaTrader 4 and cTrader software (highly regarded)
- Bachelor’s degree or similar (highly regarded)
