Job Description

Manpower Cyprus is looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO).


  • Coordinates all departments and allocate internal/external resources (human / financial) for maximum operational benefit·
  • Determines event goals and objectives in consultation with senior management
  • Formulates and implement strategies and tactics that ensure goals and objectives are met
  • Take executive decisions and resolve any internal/external issues arising
  • Assesses and evaluate existing event strategies and plans to identify opportunities for performance improvement (event effectiveness)
  • Identifies event growth opportunities (revenue, sponsorship, products, services, etc.)
  • Leads technological integrations for events (website, app, back office/CRM)
  • Manages relationships with key event stakeholders, strategic partners and suppliers
  • Research market and industry trends that will impact event performance
  • Conducts participant needs analysis to ensure event relevance, value
  • Identifies and evaluate event performance (individual and organizational participant performance; individual and team performance; sponsorship ROI; supplier performance, etc.)
  • Discovers, analyze and interpret meaningful patterns in data in order to make more informed business decisions
  • Be a motivator for other employees



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Master’s degree Preferred
  • Events or Project management certification preferred but not required


Required Experience

  • 5+ years in an executive position. Experience in event management or operations will be considered an advantage.
